Art Imitates Life
Dear Life Traveler,
There are times we can’t seem to catch a break with all the crazy things life throws our way. No one can escape the fact that at some point, we have to figure out ways to cope with the life challenges that we are given to overcome. Some people choose to talk through their problems, and that’s a really effective way to keep yourself sane. However, some people cannot verbally express their emotions, and they have to search for other ways to be heard.
Movement Is Therapeutic
Movement culture is actually really big. It’s a niche with a very specific group of people that almost fully express themselves through movement art. I have been apart of this community for well over a decade, and I have been able to cope with many life challenges throughout the years with movement. Lately, I have added yoga to my wellness regimen, and this has also been life-changing for me. Expressing ideas and feelings through dance can be truly life-changing, and I’ll show you how I do it.

Take A Deep Breath And Believe
The first thing we tend to do when we encounter issues is panic, and in turn, we begin to move at a faster rate, trying to figure out the solution to our problems. When we don’t take a moment to stop and assess the challenge, we can potentially trigger mental imbalances such as anxiety because we begin to make more mistakes when we don’t slow down. The best thing to do when you are facing any issues is to first stop, think about what the issue is, and then believe that you will find a way to cope with this life challenge in the best way possible. Pace yourself, you got this!
I decided to make a visual to cope with my life challenge
Lately, I have been going through a lot mentally. I have been working very hard to get my business off the ground the way that I want to. I mentioned my unhappiness with the things I had been doing in this post. However, this has not been an easy road. My first instinct is to jump into the things I know will make me money, but the downside to that is that it leaves me with little time to work on my business.

I’ve had to force myself to take days off from other work to dedicate it to working on my projects and in turn, learn to put my business first. I have had way too many instances where I get the short end of the stick when I am working for someone else’s business. I am tired of using my ideas and my talent to help someone else’s business flourish. I am determined now more than ever to use my expertise in MY business. This has caused a lot of stress because I sometimes doubt that I can do it. Even though I have been doing this for almost two decades, for some reason, sometimes I feel like I am just not good enough or talented enough to make this work on my own.
Check Out My Video Here
Here is my latest visual. I hope this video and its message can help someone out there. I know I write this a lot on the blog, but truly, you are not alone. We really ARE all in this together because one way or another, we’re all linked through our dreams, aspirations, our traumas, and our pain. Whatever I have been through can help someone else, and what other people have experienced can teach me valuable life lessons. I look forward to continuing to cope with my current life challenge in the best way I know how.
Let me know if you have ever done something like this to cope, and if not, would you be interested in trying a new way to help you cope with any challenges? Let me know what you think in the comments below.
See you all on the next post!
Sending you all peace and patience,
