Travel Vlog: Hard Rock Cafe in Montego Bay Day 3 and 4

The Hardrock Cafe in Montego Bay was so nice!

Whew! Halfway through my trip and I was already feeling like I not only needed some rest but also a night out someplace nice. I wound up not vlogging on day 3 of my trip because I felt like I needed to rest. I spent the whole day in bed, editing my vlogs, FaceTiming with my boyfriend, eating and watching TV shows on my laptop.

My intention was to give myself exactly what I needed. I did not want to make this trip all about the things that I can do while I’m on this beautiful island. I wanted to give my mind and body exactly what it was asking for on a daily basis. My body asked me for rest and relaxation on Day 3, so that is what I did.

What is the most American place we can eat at while in Jamaica?

Hardrock Cafe, of course! We found one and had our driver take us for dinner. It was cute, except when I found chicken in my nachos. I am a vegetarian. I was mildly annoyed but I got my food comped so whatever.

One of my friends that lives in Jamaica met up with us and talked with us over drinks. Later that night I met up with him at the local dance club where I had gone on Day 2. Let me tell you, that was NOT fun. I found myself in a dangerous situation because of my friend. He got drunk and got carried away not only with me but with other people outside of the club. He almost got into a fight.

Thank goodness I knew my way back to my Airbnb, and I walked alone down the streets of Montego Bay at like 4 AM.  I was scared but I was determined to get back home safe and sound.

This was a short vlog but a fun one. Hardrock Cafe Montego Bay was a nice choice for dinner in Jamaica.

I would definitely visit the Hardrock Cafe in Montego Bay again when I go back to Jamaica. The food was good, the drinks and the vibe were really nice. It made me feel like I was back home for a moment, and that was refreshing, given the fact that it was a bit of an adjustment for me. The food, the culture, even the way they drive over there. I was starting to feel a little homesick.

Anyway, enough said…check out my vlog above!

Would you visit an American restaurant when you’re out of the country, or would you just stick to the local food? I’d love to read your thoughts.

Sending you all lots of positive vibes,
