A new must try travel toothbrush that’s here to stay

Dear Life Traveler, I’ve got an awesome new product for you to check out! I recently came across this company that sells toothbrushes that have silver infused bristles, and I instantly became intrigued. A silver infused travel toothbrush? Why?!

Dr. Plotka’s Mouthwatchers toothbrush features

• Dr. Plotka’s Mouthwatchers travel toothbrush was invented by a dentist, Dr. Ronald Plotka developed this toothbrush as part of his 40+ year Boston-based dental practice. This toothbrush has already helped hundreds of his patients.
• This travel toothbrush is made with naturally antimicrobial bristles that are infused with silver, which naturally eliminates 99.9% of bacteria that tends to grow on the bristles in between uses.

• The bristles on these toothbrushes are also flossing bristles.  They are 10x thinner than regular bristles, which means they can get into crevices that other toothbrushes can’t get into. They are dual layered. The longer bristles act as floss, brushing away food and plaque, and the shorter bristles massage the gums and clean even further.

Why you need one (or more!) of these travel toothbrushes

So, why should you consider switching your toothbrush? Research shows that your toothbrush is home to more than 100 million bacteria including E. coli and staphylococci (Staph) bacteria. Silver infused toothbrushes have a antimicrobial effect that can keep your toothbrush cleaner which in turn will last you longer.

Also, consider the fact that you can clean your mouth more effectively with a toothbrush that has flossing bristles. I don’t always remember to floss, and having a toothbrush that will do that job as well is a win-win for me.

Lastly, the fact that there’s a travel version of this toothbrush is already a plus. You can still take the benefits along that you enjoy when you brush at home with a silver infused, flossing bristle travel toothbrush.
